DATA DIVINING TECHNOLOGIES
Getting to the Essence
As a result of collaboration with leading academic institutions over a number of years, GTG's Graph-based Recognition™ technology has been refined into revolutionary products that can exploit information trapped in handwritten documents, cursive script texts, and images. Data representing entities in this type of content are characterized by a high degree of variability from instance to instance. For example, a writer might write a particular character differently each time, but the human eye can still recognize the character. A graph-based index easily accommodates these variations, thereby creating a powerful tool for content exploitation. Style is accurately captured and retrieval is highly context sensitive. We call this “data divining” because users can divine the most useful interpretations of the content.
Key applications of these patented technologies include:
- Handwriting Biometrics - identifying the writers of handwritten documents across multiple languages - including English, Arabic (as well as other Middle Eastern languages), and Asian languages
- • Quickly triaging handwritten foreign language documents prior to translation by identifying those documents containing subjects of interest
- Identifying objects of interest in images
